What it carries:

• Water (specifically condensation from HVAC systems like air conditioners, heat pumps, dehumidifiers)

Purpose:

• Removes moisture that forms when air is cooled
• Prevents water buildup, leaks, mould, and equipment damage

Typical materials:

• PVC pipe, flexible hose, sometimes copper

Where you’ll see it:

• Connected to indoor AC units, fan coil units, ducted systems
• Runs to a drain, gully, or outside discharge point

Key point:
 It’s part of a plumbing/drainage system, not electrical
